Hi there. Thank you for posting your question with Healthcaremagic. I will do my best to help you.
Swelling of feet can be a sign of heart failure and that is why the doctors where checking you out for this. I do not know if you told them about your very significant illicit alcohol intake. You may very well have livercirrhosis and this can also give rise to swollen feet.
You need to tell your doctors that you are an alcoholic and have a liver scan and blood tests done to check your liver for degenerative changes. This may be a matter of life or death; it is very serious and very important.
You then need to have yourself checked in somewhere to dry out and get off all drugs. Please go and look after yourself now. You are still only a young woman and have lots to live for.
I hope that I have answered your questions fully and been of some help. If you have anymore questions please contact me again anytime.
Welcome here on hcm.
You can try following and report after 7 days if they have any good effect on you:-
1. While lying keep you foot above heart label a good above.
2. Never sit on chairs keeping leg down.
3. Sit on chair and keep your leg on other chair.
4. Cushion your chair by 6 inch 30 density foam.
Thanks
