Swollen Left Jaw Nodes, Puffy. Started After Taking Magic Mushrooms. Taking Benadryl. Suggestions?
hello im 19 and yesterday i took magic mushrooms (psilocybin) and my left jaw lymph nodes is swollen and hard but not painful also while on psilocybin about 3 hours in the left side of my face started to swell alot looking as if allergic reaction i took benedryl and it calmed down over night. but its still feels akward and a little puffy but im able to touch it and its twice the size cant really tell but its not a ball and its firm but not painful.

this is allergic reaction to food and it causes immediate swelling of skin lymph glands
to prevent further increase in swelling use tapering short course of steroids
add antiallergic for 3 wk
apply local antiallergic ointment in swollen parts
add also antacid
it takes 3 wk to control allery after exposure to allergen

psilocybin is not known to cause lymph node enlargement, it mainly affect central and periferal nervous system. thus, you might have been due to allergy. this effect will take 3-4 days to reduce, be relaxed and wait, also some times steroidal therapy is needed to reduce the symptoms, so contact your nearby doctor. wysalone tab 5mg two times a day for 5 days, i usually give my patients along with benedryl
