Swollen, Tender To Touch Left Side Vaginal Wall. What Could Be The Reason?

The left side of my vaginal wall feels tender to touch(like during intercourse or when I ve applied pressure with my finger ) and slightly swelled. Its just right inside the vaginal opening. I noticed it barely ; very slightly bleeds after being messed with...sort of feels like lumpy but not like a wart or lesion ....I have an appt in about a week but I still would like a clue of what to expect...please help!

hi,
according to your description the possibilities are,
-bartholin cyst: bartholin glands lies near the opening of vagina, when the duct of the cyst gets blocked it will form cyst when that get infected there is possibility of abscess formation,
-gartner's cyst is one more possibility which also can occur in the inner side of vagina,
when there is minimal abrasions on the wall of cyst possibly some spotting can be seen,
so possibly in your appointment the actual nature of the lesion can be found out and treatment can be taken.
