TTC. Prescribed Antibiotics For Any Infections And On Clostil 50 Mg. Have Hypothyroidism And PCOs. Right Treatment?

Hi I went to a obgyn/gyn tryin to get pregnant. He gave me a 2 antibiotics-apo doxy and metronizole for any infections I may have had! Now I have been married for like 3 yrs and I never really used any protection. Went back to the gyn this week and I was put on clostil 50mg. Was just wondering if I was on the right path? Not forgetting I also have hypothyroidism and PCOS. What do you think I shoud do?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.

There treat pelvic infection your doctor might have given antibiotics.
As PCOD can lead to irregular cycles and anovulation, your doctor might have kept you on clostil, which is a ovulation induction drug.
Now after taking the tablets you have to track your ovulation.
This can be done either by follicular study or by ovulation kit.
Then plan intercourse around the time of ovulation and that will increase the possibility of pregnancy.
