Taken Thyroid Test, TSH, T3, T4 Levels Abnormal. Help?
Namaskar Dr. Sahib i am 43 years old lady and as per report my T3 124.30, T4 7.86 & TSH is 4.33 but my dr. has not prescribed any medicine due to next test for 3 months. i wants to know what precaution should be taken for not increase my thyroid . Hi, Thanks for using Healthcaremagic, Your T3, T4 and TSH values are within normal limits that is the reason no drug is prescribed to you. If there is any Hypothyroidism or Hyperthyroidism is suspected clinically the thyroid function must be repeated after 2-3 months.
You can take iodized salt in diet to avoid any iodine deficiency. If you are taking any drug which can affect Thyroid function you should consult your physician about this. Some common drugs are amiodarone, Rifampicin, and mood elevator like Lithium.
