Taking Imigran For Migraine. Stopped After Getting Pregnant. Worried About Migraine

hi, i suffer from a lot of migraines and i take imigran tablets its the only ones that work.i just found out that am pregnant and my doctor told me to stop taking them. me and my husband are going on holidays next week so am very worried to what to take if iget a migrain. i am begining to dread the holiday.is there anything else i can take and is safe. maria

Thank you for the query. I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. In my opinion you can take paracetamol in early pregnancy for migraine headaches but if it is severe you consult your doctor for prescribing midrin as it will act more effectively than paracetamol itself. As it is a prescription drug you need to consult your doctor for this. Thank you.
