Taking Ocuvite For Suspected Glaucoma After Eye Examination. Any Other Medication Available?

HI MY NAME IS Ivy and I recently had an eye exam where I was told that I was a glaucoma suspect. I have noticed some minor changes in my vision but I don't have insurance to go to a physician. I had started taking Ocuvite but is there anything that I can take?

So sorry I don't have any money to pay for service..I'm presently homeless..sorry to waste your time

Hello,
Ocuvite is an multivitamin drug and it has got no role in treatment of glaucoma.
Ocuvite is useful in preventing some age related diseases like age related macular degeneration, cataract...
Glaucoma requires antiglaucoma drugs.
Glaucoma suspects may not require treatment, they need regular follow up and if there is glaucoma they require treatment by antiglaucoma medications.
Hence I advice you to consult eye doctor for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment accordingly.

THANK YOU
