Taking Aciphex, Peppermint Oil For Esophageal Dyskinesia, Still Cant Swallow. Any Suggestion?
i am looking for answers for esophageal dyskinesia. my doctor has tried meds, even peppermint oil. still cant swallow. also have barretts. being sent to a doctor at a bigger area but not for another 6 weeks. so for now i am on just aciphex 20mg once a day
You have not mentioned what meds have been tried by your doctor. Just in case calcium channel-blockers, such as, nifedipine, amlodipine (used for high blood pressure) and nitrates (used for relieving angina and in heart disease), have NOT been tried by your doctor, a trial of these drugs is worthwhile.
Consult your doctor and apprise him of my opinion. I am certain that he will agree with me and prescribe these meds, if not already tried.
