Taking Antibiotics For Throat Infection. Do I Have Scar Tissue Or Abscess? Done Tonsillectomy

Hi. I am 40 years old, I female, and about ten years ago had a pta and it went undiagnosed for a long time. I had a tonsillectomy . Then I went to mayo clinic to have a revision tonsillectomy where they took more tonsil tissue out. 10 years later I am having some kind of throat infection that I take antibiotics for about once a month. I wonder if I may have scar tissue or another sort of abcess somewhere else.

most likely cause is chronic sinusitis
there is post nasal drip of mucus in sinusitis and due to fall of mucus in throat there is recurent infections of throat
can be confirmed by xray pns waters view and get treated with consultation of ent specialist
can be cleared fast by taking doxycycline 100 mg bd for 7 days and sos
antialleric tab fexofenadine 120 mg will be able to reduce mucus secretion in sinuses
antacid gel tds will reduce the gerd and thus less throat irritation
and mild analgesic sos for fever and pain
