Taking Indomethacin. Having Indigestion. Taking Tylenol. Indomethacin That Causes The Migraines
I am taking indomethacin ER 75mg and the first few times I had bad indigestion but then figured out how to handle that but then the migraines started and I have literally been in bed all weekend trying to keep down what little food I can eat and taking tylenol 3 or Tramedol (from a previous injury) to try to make the migraines go away. Is it the Indomethacin that causes the migraines?
Hello, Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query. I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through. Indomethacin is not known frequently to cause migraine. Infact you would be surprised to know that indomethacin is used in the treatment of migraine. But then any medications can cause migraine as a side-effect. So it is still possible. Probably if your treating doctor agrees you can stop it and see. Hope I am able to answer your concerns. If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you. In future if you wish to contact me directly, you can use the below mentioned link: bit.ly/dr-srikanth-reddy
