Taking Yaz Pill. Have Been Prescribed Tetralysal Now. Can Both The Tablets Been Taken Together?
Just began taking tetralysal, have been prescribed two pills a day, one morning, one night. I have been on the pill, Yaz, for a month, also in concerns to acne, now do i stop taking yaz since i started this tetralysal, or can i continue with taking both...? doctor said taking both is fine, but i read up on tetralysal and saw the contraceptive pill makes the tetralysal effectiveness lessen

Hello,
TETRALYSAL is basically an antibiotic given for the treatment of ACNE.
There is no need to stop YAZ as advised by your doctor.
YAZ is a contaceptive and is also acts as anti androgen and helps in acne,facial hairs and PCOD patients.
You must make sure to avoid taking any iron,zinc and antacids with TETRALYSAL.
Keep a gap of two hours atleast.
