Temperature Keeps Fluctuating. Body Feels Hot Inside. What Is It?
my body temp. is always normally 97.9 degrees. but for the past two days i have been feeling hot inside and out and constantly checking my temp. and for the past two days it has been reading in between 98.4-99.2 degrees. my question is, are these new temperatures considered a fever for me, considering my normal body temp. is 97.9?
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
The body temperature is not static and varies according to time of day under the effect of hormone level fluctuation and the metabolic changes.
The evening temperature is 0.5 degrees more than the morning temperature levels in the same individual without any diseases.
The level you are having may be indicative of just a fluctuation but because you are also having symptoms of feverishness it is highly advisable that the fever should be evaluated by a clinical examination by a local physician.
Hope I have answered your query.
If you have any questions I will be happy to answer.
Please close the query if you have no other questions.
Wish you a good health.
