Hi,
Based on information it seems as the landing has been very hard and the place where your have the pain is mostly due to the nerve injury/ compression , or
hematoma (collection of blood) /
blunt trauma may have compressed some nerve at the point of pain.
Now let me explain, The nerves form the
spinal cord exit from the space between two vertebrae commonly known the spines, now due to the impact the spine's disk (cushion) which lies between two vertebrae may be crushed or slipped from its place leading the space for nerve narrow and it will cause the strong
shock like pain.
ADVICE:
Please consult an spine specialist / any physician.
here is what they will do
1)Will visually inspect it ( if hematoma /
blunt injury)
2)Will perform some physical test to check the
spinal nerve compression (such as elevation of foot to certain degree) and will check for any other neurological signs.
3) May ask for MRI of spine in case of spinal nerve.
4) TREATMENT
** In case blunt trauma/ hematoma is conservative (pain killer &
heat therapy).
** In case of disk prolapse/ rupture depends upon injury type will be taken care by surgeon.
Hope it helps.
