Test Report Shows Anterverted Enlarged Uterus With A Gestational Sac. Suggestive Of Missed Abortion.
My report is as follows:
The study shows anterverted enlarged Uterus with a gastational sac with inadequate trophoblastic reaction with mean diameter of 2.1cms corresponding to 6 weeks 5 days of gestation.
foetal cardiac pulsation and movements are absent.
CRL measure 0.45 cm corresponding to 6 weeks 1 days of gestation
Carvical canal measures 2.73cm and closed
Ovaries are normal in size and shape and shape are have small follicles
The interpretation of the ultrasound report is as follows: 1. The uterus is normal in position. Anteversion is the normal position of the uterus. 2. The ovaries are normal in size and shape. 3. The cervical canal is closed. Opened up cervical canal is indicative of threatened abortion. Threatened abortion is a condition in which the abortus starts escaping out from the cervical canal to the exterior. 4. The gestational sac is present in the uterus. However, there is no cardiac activity in the fetus. This implies that the fetus is not viable.
There is abortion of the fetus/ products of conception. You need to consult your gynecologist and undergo dilatation and curettage for the removal of the products of conception.
