Throat Pain On One Side That Transforms Into Ear Pain During Stress, Normal Blood Tests, CAT Scan. Can Stress Cause This?
I have a painful throat on the right hand side which turns into ear pain when I get stressed. I have had the pain now for 3 months. I have had blood test cat scan all clear my GP cannot see anything, I mam pretty desperate about the situation maybe I should see a specialist, ca anxiety and stress cause a throat disorder like this

Hello, Welcome to HCM, Pain in the throat can be referred to ear, because of the communication between throat and the ear. The infection from the ear can easily reach the ear and can cause infection in the ear. Whenever there is a infection WBC should be increased, i donot know what blood teat you undergone. I would suggest you to take A course of oral broad spectrum antibiotics Oral NSAIDs Chlorhexidine mouth gargling. Still if your condition is not improving you may consult your ENT surgeon for physical examination and treat appropriately. Thank you.
