Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.
It is mandatory to have an xray of injured joint to rule out any bony injury.
The sensation of numbness and pin & needles is due to neurological disturbance in the nerves that are present at the level of the elbow.
So i suggest you to visit an orthosurgeon and follow his advice.
Hope this helps
