Gastroenterologist, Surgical 's  Response
Pus coming from the wound signifies infection. The stitches which have got infected need to be removed immediately in order to drain the pus . Daily dressings and oral antibiotics to be continued till complete healing of the wound.

Oncologist, Surgical Dr. Rohan Khandelwal's  Response
It is not normal for pus to come out of the stitches. Are you running fever as well?
You should consult your doctor immediately and ask him to have a look at the stitch line. Any delay can lead to the spread of the infection and a cosmetically bad scar.
Is the pus thick or just liquid kind of discharge?

Hope you get well soon
