Hi. My Little Brother Is Two And Earlier Today My Brother Fell Out Of The Car(It Wasnt Moving) Onto His Ribs & Now He Crys When We Try Yo Pick Him Upp ~ Doesnt Eat~Doesnt Sleep~And Walks Funny. Is There Any Chance One Of His Ribs Is Broken. If Not Is There Any Way To Help Him Get Rid Of The Pain. Thank you ~ Tk Roberson.

Hello,
Fall from a height of upto three feet ususally does not cause much harm.
observe for the following
1 Loss of consciousness
2. Vomiting more than six times in the first twenty four hours
3. Bleeding from the ears or Nose

Regarding the suspected rib injury observe the following
1. How is the chest wall movement : observe when the child is sleeping or quiet. Is it smooth or he appears to have difficulty
2. Focus your eyes on the area where you suspect a injury may be present
A. Is the skin red
B. Is there a swelling
C. On touching does the place appears painful

Trial of analgesic does not help means it is better to consult.
