I have tonsil stones, I feel one right now in my throat that gives a constant gagging sensation. I have read online how to remove the stones but I cannot see them. My tonsils seem to be too large for me to see the sides or under flaps - areas that other people describe removing the stones from. Any suggestions ? Should I consider a tonsillectomy? I am 32 year old female .
Hi, It appears that you might be having acute tonsillitis giving feeling of stones. Go for one antibiotic medicine course and you will be alright. If there is recurrent infection of tonsils, then go for tonsillectomy after consulting ENT surgeon. Avoid junk food and cold drinks. Keep oral hygiene healthy. Ok and take care.
