Your symptoms sound as though you may have a mild concussion. What many don't realize is that the effects of a concussion can last weeks. One of the primary symptoms of concussion is dizziness and associated nausea. Sleep disorders would also be included. Keep in mind that a CT scan of the brain, in the case of concussion, does not appear different from a normal CT scan. I am having a difficult time with your throat as I can see no reason your throat should hurt after the accident you describe. The stiffness in your neck is clearly the result of your accident. If your symptoms continue greater than two weeks, or if they worsen, you should present to the Emergency Department for evaluation. In the interim, I would recommend supportive measures such as increased fluid intake and perhaps NSAIDS (ibuprofen).
