Treatment For Foul-smelling Urine?

Commy urine smells like hod dog water. but only sometimes. today i caught my urine in a cup and smelled it to make sure the smell was coming from my urine and it is. it was a very strong smell. after i poured the urine out of the cup, the cup still smelled like the urine. im scared. i looked online and someone said this was a sign of aids. i got an hiv test, std test and also sent my pee away for a culture and nothing. i went to the local clinic so they just said i may need to clean myself better. thats not the case. i know how to clean myself. Im worried bc I know urine, color and smell tells a lot. this smell isnt normal.

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have foul smelling urine .This is definitely not due to HIV or STD

This could be either due to your urine being concentrated or UTI.

Please get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.

Please take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefexine along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.

Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.

Ensure to drink more water.To keep your urine dilute This will help to prevent from foul smelling.
