I am trying to conceive and because of my irregular periods i was put on duphaston.i was asked to continue after my regular periods from day16-day25. I got my periods on 30april.my ovulation date was frm 13-18May.We were trying on these dates. Now today 21May after my ovulation i have been spotted one or two drops of blood. What does this mean? Should i continue duphaston tablet or consult my doctor as it is not anywhere close to my period date.there is slightest feeling of cramp in my lower abdomen.

Dear user, welcome to healthcare magic.
Spotting or cramping, never mind. Just continue on your duphaston as your doctor asked.
But I suggest you have ovulation induction and monitoring your ovulation by ultrasound as a better way. Once you have ovulation induction either by clomiphene tablets or by hmg injections, your periods will be regular and your chances of getting pregnant will be better.
If six months pass without getting pregnant, you should be reevaluated.
I wish you get pregnant soon and good luck.
Dr. Ahmed Bahaa.
