Twelfth Rib Hit During Rugby Training, Little Pain. How To Get Relief From Pain?

I hit my twelfth rib in a tackle at rugby training, I have some pain there I have done it before on my rigt side my left side is currently in a bit of pain, last time I did it I ignored it and it got worse and took two monts to go away but I ave taken time off trining for it to heal but I don t know of any exercises treatment pain etc for it

Generally rib injuries take time to heal, because one is not able to keep the injury site still ( you have to breathe) . There are no exercises to help, the best is to protect it as best as possible,this means no contact sport for six weeks. If the pain is unbearable, using local anti-inflamatory medication does help.
