I have a ulcer and it flares up at times and makes me feel very big like and I have been gaining weight not being able to loss plus my stomach hurts and makes me sick a lot not enough to throw up but makes me feel like I have to eat and usually it feels better but it almost always feels like my stomach is just pushing out so is it my ulcer or something else
Hi ! As you said in your history, you feel like you have to eat. This is a typical of a peptic ulcer the pain and discomfort of which are relieved with intake of food due to dilution of the acid. This is why people with peptic ulcer also gain some weight as they eat frequently to get relief of the pain. You may have to consult a gastro enterologist who may advise you for a upper gastro intestinal endoscopy.Till that you may start taking some proton pump inhibitor drug and some kind of prokinetic drugs to control your symptoms which may be required for a longer period. WIshing you an early recovery.
