Ultrasound Pregnancy Report Shows Fetus Age, Gestational Age And Fetus In Unstable Presentation. What Does This Mean?
Hi, we just got the Ultrasound Pregnancy report - fetus age is 16 weeks - there are two statements that are of concern for us 1. Gestational age in UNSTABLE PRESENTATION 2. Fetus Noted in UNSTABLE PRESENTATION Can you Please explain what this means and what s the concern is about ? we are little concerned. Your information is highly appreciated thank you
Both the statements are normal at 16weeks of pregnancy.
It means to say that the fetus is lying in an unstable position inside the womb. This happens because it keeps moving a lot inside the mother's womb. It will attain a steady position at 32 weeks. Do not worry about this.
The pregnancy is going smooth to both the mother and the baby.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
