Ultrasound Scan During Pregnancy Shows Gravid, Single Intrauterine G.sac Seen. Meaning?
Dear Dr, Today my wife had USG and I need to get some more details on ultra sound scan of early pregnancy (TAS) as I am bit worried for the same.
Uterus : Gravid, single intrauterine g.sac seen Decidual reaction : Good Decidual contour : Regular Bleed : Nil MSD : 18MM = 6.0wks FETUS : Seen CRL =6.5mm=6WOD HEART Beat : Well seen Fetal movement : Just seen Internal OS : Closed Cervix : 3.2 Ovaries: LT and RT normal Bladder : Normal
LMP : 04/04/13 EDC(By LMP) : 11/01/2014 EDC (By USG) : 21/01/2014 POA : 7w3d USG age : 6wod
The test results are fine. In short, the report says that the implantation of embryo has occurred in the uterus and shows active heart beat. The mouth of uterus is closed. There is a slight variation (10 days) in the gestational age by LMP and ultrasoundgestational sac measurements and this is acceptable. Also there are no other obvious abnormalities seen in ovaries.
