Ultrasound Showed A Small Cyst On Cervics And CT Scan Showed Diverticulitis. Prescribed Cortisone Cream. Pain Relief?
I have been suffering from a burning sensation in my vulvar area now for 5 weeks. I have had a vaginal ultra sound that showed a small cyst on my cervics a ct scan that only showed diverticulitis and two vulvar biopsies that I was told showed inflammation. I am currently using a prescribed cortisone cream once a day for the past two weeks and starting yesterday every other day. The pain is not too bad in the morning but as the day progresses and I move around the pain becomes worse and there is visible redness and inflammation around the human area. Is there any thing else I can use to relieve some od the pain?
Namaste Welcome to Healthcare-Magic Greetings of the day Burning pain and redness in vulvar region points towards diagnosis of fungal infection. Just using steroid cream won't suffice. Also consider adding clotrimazole, an anti fungal agent in Consultation with your Gynaecologist. Also rule out any cervicitis by getting a swab test done from your Gynaecologist. Take care Regards
