Hello,
there are different causes of pain in lower abdomen in men and women.
as you said you find it difficult to go to toilet it is suggestive of pressure symptom and inflammation.
check this
is there any swelling associated with pain?
burning sensation while passing urine ?
change in the colour of stool ?
go to your general surgeon, he will suggest you an abdomen ultrasound
this will most probably help find out the problem
wishing you good health
