Hello Dear and welcome
Your grandmother is taking antibiotic and PPI inhibitor do not know why? They will not going to help in back pain. You need to take analgesic and anti-inflammatory drugs to reduce pain. Some more precautions to follow are:
1. Alternate hot and cold fermentation.
2. Use hard bed to sleep, avoid pillow.
3. Apply anti-inflammatory gel gently to reduce pain.
4. Do regular physiotherapy and exercise by consulting you physiotherapist.
5. Avoid all long term sitting and standing.
6. Avoid jerky movements of back.
You can also go for surgery if she is physically active. Consult your spine surgeon for that.
Best Wishes
