Undergoing Treatment For Insect Bite. Diagnosed With Shingles. Taking Amatriptolene. Suggestions?

HI, I HAVE JUST BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH SHINGLES TODAY AFTER ORIGINALLY BEING TREATED FOR A POSSIBLE INSECT BITE ON MY BACK. THE PAIN IN BETWEEN MY SHOULDER BLADES DEEP IN MY BACK WAS NOT EASING AND I RETURNED TO THE DOCTORS TODAY. I HAVE BEEN GIVEN AMATRIPTOLENE 10MG TO BE TAKEN ONE EACH NIGHT. CAN YOU TELL ME IF I SHOULD BE RECEIVING ANYTHING ELSE TO HELP WITH THIS CONDITION. THANKYOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP

Hello.the condition u are suffering from is post herpetic neuralgia.The drug of chioce is amitryptline .If it is not subsided you can go to gapapentin
