Upper Body Muscle Pain And Difficulty In Breathing After Falling Down. What Should I Do?

I just had a fall (about 20 mins ago) while doing some pull ups and I landed on my lower back. What struck me the most was how hard it was to breathe after the fall. I could not catch my breath and my internal organs are starting to hurt. My upper body muscles are also starting to hurt now that I m lying in bed. What should I do?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The acute pain that you would have experienced at time of fall may have contributed to the shortness of breath that you felt at the time however if it continues then you would have to visit your doctor to ensure that there was no damage to the lungs.

In terms of the pain, it would be experienced to increase over the next 24 hours to it reaches a plateau .
You can consider the use of anti inflammatory pain killers such as ibuprofen, cataflam, aspirin, celebrex. These should decrease your pain.

The application of a cold pad may also help.

I hope this helps
