Sir, My husband has been suffering from ILD since three years, after taking high steroid dose, now it has controlled. Due to usage of steroid he got diabeties. Now in his urine report there is microalburuminia of 45g. Is is danger? how can he get rid of it by natural remedies? please answer
Hello and welcome to HCM, Steroids do not cause diabetes but they increase the probability of diabetes mellitus in predisposed individuals. Microalbuminuria is the first sign of diabetic nephropathy. There is no natural method to control microalbuminuria. Instead you need to control diabetes by taking appropriate drugs. You need to consult your physician for prescription of drugs. Diabetes can cause complications like neuropathy and retinopathy. You need to get eye check up regularly and stay vigilant if numbness appears in any part of the body.
