Used Azifast Tablets To Reduce Acne Spots. Will This Reduce The Chicken Pox Rashes Also?
Hi Doc,
I was suffering from severe Acne and consulted a doctor who asked me to take Azifast 250 for 6 days of a month for 3 month, meaning total of 18 Tablets over time of 3 months. I did that and had Zinc supplement Zevit on with it. And just after 3 months my Acne were dried and over 4 months of time my face was clear and spotless though i had few marks of Acne left. Everything was good until the day I got Chicken Pox and since then I have Acne back. I have on my own started Azifast 250 and Zevit. 2 Courses are already in of Azifast. My Question is will it be ok if i continue and complete 3rd Course as well. Brevoxyl is also used to with it side by side to reduce the redness of Acne. Please suggest if any other medication required as these ACNE are getting worse with every passing day. Please help Doc.
hi, azifast will not effect chicken pox rashes. secondly, you need to confirm the rashes you developed second time is acne or something else. see your dermatologist. if it is resistant acne, then may be course of isotretinoin will be useful in addition to azifast. wash your face 3-4 times a day.
wish you good health
