Hello,
Thank you for posting on HCM.
Acne as you must be knowing is pretty common and teenage and early twenties., though it can occur at any age. I would suggest you thorough consult with a
dermatologist, who would take your proper history (including menstrual), clinical examination and advise some laboratory tests accordingly(esp. hormonal profile). Usually, alteration in hormonal profile can lead to few bumps of acne around your menses. Your doctor might prescribe you long course of antibiotics and/or isotretinoin(with extreme precaution) and some other drugs like oral estrogen,
progesterone,
spironolactone,
cyproterone acetate etc based on your lab reports. Apply pea-size amount of cream containing
nadifloxacin twice a day and a cream containing adapalene and
benzoyl peroxide at bedtime for 1 hour. Use good quality cleanser like Fash foaming facewash regularly. Avoid oil-based make up and cosmetics. Try to avoid junk food and refined sugars in your diet.
Scars is a fibrous tissues that replaces skin after injury. Its difficult to diagnose the reason and type of scars without actual clinical examination or photographs.
Scars are pretty difficult to treat without procedures. No cream/ointment would help in getting rid of scars. Tretinoin molecule based cream/gel can help in reducing scars to certain extent.
I would advise you thorough consult with a dermatologist. Usually for mild scarring chemical peeling and
microdermabrasion will be a good choice. For moderate to severe scars, microneedling(Dermaroller) with or without subcision is a good option. For severe deep scars, laser resurfacing would be the best option.
Hope this will take care of your issue.
Thank you
