Hi Doctor, I am 26 yrs female. I was using betnovet on my whole face. After a while i used to notice that my eruptions didnt reduce. Instead white heads and pus forming heads are comping out. So my doc advised me to use Nadibact gel twice a day. I am using it for two weeks and more and more eruptions are appearing. Please advise.
Hi, Thanks for writing to us. It seems due to use of betnovate your acne flared up. Betnovate is a potent steroid with a tendency to cause or increase acne lesions. To treat the same you may take tablet azithromycin or doxycycline continue nadibact application twice in a day use adapalene gel in night use a benzoyl peroxide based face wash like perowash or brevoxyl. get your whiteheads and blackheads extracted.
Hopefully in couple of weeks, your lesion would subside. Take care
