Wake Up At Night With Mucus And Cough, Fine In The Morning. How Can I Get Rid Of This?

hi at night i wake up around 4.00 or 5.00 with mucus and coughing. i am fine during day. I recovered from a major cold and cough about 2 weeks ago. But I find sine then i wake up around 4.00 am with a stuffed nose and coughing. by the time i head to work i am fine. this is distrubing my sleep pattern. Could you advise. Thanks

thanks for your query.
your problems are mainly due to collection of mucus in throat and nasal congestion which usually happens after lying supine for a longer period of time.i would suggest you to do gargles twice a day,use nasal saline drops to avoid congestion ,try to keep your head elevated while sleeping by using extra pillow.
