I am so sorry to hear about the concerns you have about your weight. Excess weight is actually a risk factor for many conditions and addressing it on time makes sense. Congrats on considering this.
Generally, I don't encourage my clients to go on drug for
weight loss for the following reasons:
1. You did not take drugs to gain extra weight
2. If you get on drugs, then you shall stay on drugs forever to keep this controlled?
3. You will most likely regain this extra weight when you stop drugs
Best way to loose weight and maintain a stable weight is to take in less than you send out daily. This can be achieved by cutting down on the number of calories you consume daily, reducing fatty foods, doing more physical exercise, increasing your fiber and fruits intake. Incorporating this into your feeding habit and lifestyle ensures that they become part of you and remain lifelong changes rather than an up and down cycle.
Talking to a dietitian is best. Please, consider doing so to address this obesity.
