Wear Contact Lenses. Small Blister On Iris. Taking Pataday. Serious? Go To Doctor?

I'm a 13yo male, US, NJ. I have really bad allergies, saw a doctor today, and was prescribed patoday for my eyes. I wear contact lenses. I removed my contact lenses, applied the drops and replaced my contacts 20 minutes later. Tonight I noticed a small blister looking thing on the outer edge of my iris. Is this serious? Should I go see a doctor right now?

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hi Friend I am Dr Bilal and I am an Ophthalmologist
Welcome to Health Care Magic and thanks for writing to us .
I would like to answer your question and your satisfaction is my goal .

First of all, it is not recommended to use Pataday eye drops to treat redness and irritation caused by contact lens wear and do wear contact lenses if your eyes are red. Redness due to contact lens wear may not be caused by allergies. As you have also mentioned that there is a small blister on iris ( I presume it be to cornea i.e, the transparent part of eye ) , it may be due to a common side effect of Pataday eye drops which includes blurred vision , itching , dryness , headache , feeling that something is in your eye . I would suggest you to stop using pataday eye drops as well as your contact lenses and visit your eye doctor as you may be prescribed with some alternative anti-allergic drops . Meanwhile you may use your glasses .
I hope you will find my answer helpful .
Wish you a speedy recovery .
Best Regards .
