Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Wearing Brace. Replaced It. It Is Painful, Rubbing The Skin Off The Ankle. Recommendations?
C.r.o.w. brace makers-- my current place is no longer doing a good enough job (1st brace to replace current, year old brace was unwearable- too many changes made it painful and difficult to walk in and the current brace is rubbing the skin off my ankle, never good infection-wise). My g.p. doesn't have any ideas (I think I'm the only one in his practice that wears one) and though I know I may not be able to get an answer, I do think I need to find a recommendation for a new brace supplier in my city (Toronto, Ont.) as 'm not yet willing to stop walking. Thanks
Hello, If you are experiencing unbearable pain, please do visit your dentist and get it replaced. If you are not satisfied with the treatment ,you discuss with your dentist and get the problems rectified. Use orthodontic toothbrush to clean your teeth. Chlorhexidine mouthrinses can be used to gargle. Hope this helps.
