Weightgain. Diagnosed Overactive Thyroid. On Cabozimol. Can Duramine Be Taken For Weightloss?
Hi I have been diagnosed with a over active thyroid about 6 months ago. I'm currently taking cabozimol and my thyroid is back to normal, but still have to take tablets for another 6 months. I have gained a bit of weight especially around my stomach. I've been going to the gym to try to get rid of my extra weight but it won't seem to budge. I am wondering if taking duramine would help and not have a negative impact on my thyroid
Hola.Is not recommended to take that drug."Duramine"inhibits appetite but cause importants side effects as tachycardia, palpitations, high blood pressure, nervousness, tremor(is and amphetaminen derivative )These same effects are the most common manifestations of over active thyroid, consequently the drug is contraindicated;your thyroid symptoms might worsen. You should follow a balanced diet and practice exercise, with that is enough.I wish you good health.
