What Are The Best Possible Treatment For Diabetics?
Hi I am 45year old. I am diabetic patient since last 8 years but sugar level is under control by taking glycomet forte GP1, 2 times regularly recently my sugar level is increased as fasting 181 & PP 258 my doctor recommended trigimisave forte LS1 in morning & flexiglim0.5 with glycomet forte GP1 in evening, Is it suitable prescription to control.
According to american diabetes association guidelines The first line of treatment is metformin, if not controlled with the adequate possible dosage, then add secretogogue like glimeperide if the fasting blood sugars are high
If not controlled properly then add a prandial regulator like voglibose or newer molecules like gliptins.
But when we look into your case it is best to select an basal insulin to control your fasting sugars.
Thanks.
