What Are The Blotches On The Upper Trunk With The Increase In Heart Rate?

My aunts heart rate went up to 166/93 with a pulse of 144. This woke her up from sleeping. She also had blotches on her upper trunk. She is under the care of a cardiologist, but this has happened multiple times in the last week. Any thoughts on what she can do?

I have read your question closely, I understand your concern and will be helping you with your health related problem. Blotches seem to be a separate thing and heart rate doesn't seem to be related. There can be many reasons behind this problem.

1) Anxiety.
2) Her medication.
3) Caffeine, stimulants.
4) Dehydration.

There can be other reasons too, i would regard anxiety and medication in top suspects , I would suggest her to visit cardiologist for heart rate and dermatologist to check what reason the blotches are there.
