General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,
1) Regression of any cancer is depend upon the stage of cancer. And staging is affected by size, spread of tumor. Regression also depend on histological type of cancer.
2) No any cancer can regress without treatment.
2) For colon cancer with spread to tail bone, it is categorized as locally advanced disease. Such disease require first chemotherapy to make small (surgery would be easier) and then surgery is recommended to remove cancer. However due to locally advance nature of cancer, chances of re-appearance of cancer after treatment is little high.
