What Are The Chances Of Melanoma Spreading To Spine And Causing Neurological Damage?
what are the chances of melanoma on back near the spine to spread to the spine and cause neurological damage. How long does it take for a bleading mole to become full blown melanoma and spread. I don't have health insurance to go to a doctor. I have to wait 2 months until I have enough money to see a doctor would this be a problem: by 2 months would it spread to the spine.
Melanoma can spread. The deeper the tumor (Breslow's level--in mm) the greater the risk. This tumor usually spreads to the lymph nodes, surrounding skin, liver, brain, and then other organs.
Bleeding moles are often just irritated moles. Some moles do transform into melanoma, and often have changes (color changes, size, etc). Look up the ABCDE's of melanoma. Removal of the mole is easy, even if not cancerous, and takes a couple of minutes.
