What Are The Common Causes Of Inflamed Bladder?

Hi currently I have an inflamed bladder and have been drinking several glasses of real diluted cranberry juice and am waiting to see a specialist . I continously have lower front and back discomfort, but I also noticed that I had become constipated and now I have thick mud like dark brown bowel movements. Should I be asking for a colonoscopy as we ll. I m 52 yrs old female, extremely fit eat healthy , work out regularly but recently had a bladder infection and now have an inflamed bladder with these other issues.

Madam, as you are noticing the inflammed bladder only recently and cranberry juice diluted is perhaps helping you to certain degree and it is again associated with the mild pain in lower tummy and back and constipation, I am inclined to think whether the recent urinary infection received adequate attention and sufficient appropriate antibiotic cover or it is lurking to become chronic or complicated one. Also you might have known woman is more prone for contacting the infective urinary symptoms (LUTI ) due to oestrogen deficiency around menopausal phase of life. In such case, treating by a gynaec with confirmation of deficit is simple or else you will be seeing the urologist to investigate the causation of chronicity or unearth some vesicular conditions like OAB or interstistial cystitis shadowing your present symptoms. Hope this helps you
