My cousin (24yrs old, male) got out of rehab ~2mos ago for addiction to heroin, marijuana & pills (hydrocodone, xanax). One evening last week his wife came home to him acting wierd: stumbling, slurred speech. He was left at home by himself with no money, no transportation & no drugs/alcohol in the house. She put him in the car to take him to see his mother, while stopped he got out of the car crying, hysterical, talking about suicide then laid face down in the parking lot. His mother arrived, after much begging she got him in the backseat between his wife & sister. He then jumped over the seat to the front & was trying to jump out of the moving car. He swears he didn t take any drugs and finally admitted to drinking a whole bottle of mouthwash. I m very skeptical that mouthwash would cause these symptoms. Would drinking a whole bottle of mouthwash cause this kind of behavior? (he finally settled down several hours later)
