What Are The Possible Reasons For A Knot On The Back Of Knee When The Front Is Hurt And Also I Am Having Floating Knee Cap Without Any Cartridge?

I hit the front top of my right knee cap yesterday and noticed today that I have a lump the size of a cherry tomatoe behind my right knee cap. the lump is pushing on the cartridge the allows your knee to bend. I have floating knee caps no cartridge holing my knee caps in place and they point to the ceiling. They pop out of socket easily I'am always protecting my knee caps from popping out of socket. I have in the past noticed they exact same thing with the not in the bend of the back of my knee after having had hit it a day earlier what are some of the possible reasons for such a knot to appear?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
The knee is very fragile joint and highly vulnerable to injury, the knot which you have noticed could be a hematoma, as I am saying that the knee joint is very fragile so looking to this the X-ray study of joint is must this will clear all the doubt or else for wait some time this will go away and everything will be fine have nice day.
