What Are The Risk Factors With Tonsil Inflammation?

no news back.
I had a tonsillectomy in November. both of my tonsils were taken out and sent away for analysis because they couldn't figure out what was causing the inflammation. I'm kinda worried cause its been over two months and still no word back. what could it be other than cancer cause that's what I have pretty much convinced myself it is atm =/
