Hello. I am 35 yrs old. I have had right abdominal pain for about one year. colonoscopy showed mild inflamation in ascending with negative biopsies. Upper endoscopy negative. Pain is mildly better. I do get constipated GI specialist said I have IBS. However my stools appear dark grey mixed with brown at times. Is that a common side affect of IBS
In irritable bowel syndrom alternative diarrhea and constipation problem occurs. If you notice change a colour of stool that may be because of infection .
