Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My doc has prescribed SAF KIT as alternative to Clingen 3, as it is not available in the matket beacuse I have an infection in the cervix wall. I have recently undergone DNC and inserted Copper T for 10 years. My age is 38 years,160com,65kg. my last delivery is since 9 years. is there any side effect to SAF KIT and what is the general use of SAF KIT and how to use it?
Saflab Kit contains secnidazole, fluconazole, azithromycin, lactobacillus which is used in syndromic management of vaginal discharge. It stops the growth of micoorganisms and prevents any further spread of the infection. It balances good bacteria in the guts. Its side effects are nausea, vomiting, headache, diarrhea, stomach pain, vaginal itching, taste changes, abdominal pain, dizziness, vertigo, dyspepsia, flatulence, allergic reactions etc. Take this medicine in the dosage and for the duration as advised by your doctor. Check the level before use. It may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Take care. Hope I have answered your questions. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Zubayer Alam, General And Family Physician
